Sometimes what connects with fans surprises you. Dark Romance was supposed to be a ‘standard’ collection. Something we thought would do well, but with the moody aesthetic it wouldn’t be for everyone. How wrong we were. It stuck around for months. The monochromatic designs coupled with the cutesy prints were popular with both college women and their dads.
