HARRY POTTER

What it would be like to be a wizard…pretty stressful, I imagine. Harry Potter has enough lore to fill up probably seven books and like eight movies. For our collections we wanted to give nods to hardcore fans, with our own twist on The Wizarding World.

Take a long look into the Mirror of Erised.

Mischief Not Managed

Dark Arts

Where Darkness Thrives, You Will Rise

By this point we had unfortunately stopped doing lifestyle shoots for every campaign, but I still wanted to tell an engaging story (as best I could, with what I had to work with).

I revisited Year One and Return to Hogwarts, and decided why not stay with the student point of view? I tried to blend nods that Harry Potter fans would recognize, as we explored what the descent and corruption the Dark Arts has on you once its tendrils wrap around your mind.

Magic Beyond Measure

The Boy Who Lived, Will Die

Return To Hogwarts

Look at you. Welcome to your second year. You made it.

We Run This Castle

I wanted to continue the student experience we started in Year One. Return to Hogwarts has a little more confident, a little more cocky tone like “Yeah, I’ve done this.. I know the deal.” But really, you still don’t know much.

We leaned more into the fall look with the waning sunlight in the photoshoot, which I think better conveyed that back to school feeling.

Some Spells Shouldn’t Be Spoken

Year One

From Muggle To Magic

For this collection, we already did a lifestyle shoot, but hadn’t come up with a throughline or theme. This was going to come out in the summer, but it got me thinking of that back to school feeling. The ever rising anxiety and excitement as that first day approached.

Now what would it be like for your first year of wizarding school? I feel like that comes with a little more pressure. We tapped into that and tried to capture what it would be like to walk down the halls of Hogwarts for the first time.

Avoid The Third Floor Corridor. Seriously.

Anyone know a spell for nerves?
